Duncan Martin
Duncan's first job in radio was at BBC Radio Norfolk who gave him his first break reading the early morning travel reports on the Breakfast Show. Duncan's hope that he would be given a helicopter to fly around in didn't quite meet the management's thoughts and the station budget so he was confined to the studio. He then moved on to Siren FM, a community station in Lincoln. where he did a weekly programme which gave airtime to local bands. "One of the best acts we had in the studio was a street busker who played a rather large didgeridoo" he recalls.
Duncan is now with us here at Meridian Radio and can be heard on Sunday Mornings from 10am - Noon. He loves being back in the area his parents are from - "It's like being back home."
